Dr. forest. Joachim Krug

 

Dr. forest. Joachim Krug has been working for over two decades as a scientific advisor on the protection and sustainable management of forests and forested landscapes - worldwide. The main focus of his experience is the evaluation of forests, taking into account ecological and economic interests, especially in the changing importance of forests in the context of climate change.

Dr. forest. Joachim Krug was scientific advisor to the German delegation at the climate negotiations (COP 7 to COP 13) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) from 2007 to 2013: Focus on the assessment of forest management with regard to climate effectiveness and accounting for GHG removal performance. Policy field analysis and monitoring of such political processes play a role that should not be underestimated.

Since 2018, Dr. forest. Joachim Krug has also been supporting private forest owners in improving their portfolios for adapting their forest areas to climate change and the corresponding rewarding of GHG removal performance as the basis for strengthened sustainability of forest ownership and forests.

Dr. forest. Joachim Krug is appointed by TÜV Nord - the only verifying validying body (VVB) in Germany - as an external technical expert and is responsible for all verifying certification processes at WALDZERTIFIKATE INT. GmbH.

Dipl. Des. Raphael Scriba

 

Dipl. Des Raphael Scriba has been living and working parallel in Namibia and Germany for 30 years and looks back on an extensive expertise in project management! His extensive portfolio includes long-term cooperation with many non-profit and development organisations (NGOs) such as Medicines Sans Frontiere, WHO, GiZ, Goethe Institut, Misereor, Menschen gegen Minen e.V., etc.

 

Dipl. Des. Raphael Scriba has been familiar with the various project regions in Africa since the early 1990s. Since 1992 he has been working in all areas of creative, strategic communication and investigative journalism for German and international media and television stations. He works with correspondents worldwide.

 

As a producer, editor and director of photography in Germany and abroad, he is responsible for the development and production of innovative and exciting TV formats as well as feature-length documentaries for socio-political and science editorial departments such as Weltspiegel, Auslandsjournal, Titel Thesen Temperamente or Galileo.

 

In addition to the editorial, journalistic orientation, his tasks as Executive Producer lie in the financial management and budgeting.
